The name originates from Wau Reseda - the Dyer's Wee - the Yellow Wau - a plant that was once used to create powerful yellow dye and probably my ancestors did business with.


WAUW CRESEDA is a fusion of my own name (Florian van de Wauw) and the Reseda plant. CRESEDA extends the idea with roots in Crescere – Latin for growth.
